Creating a New Tire Using a Template

Using a template to create a new tire file ensures consistency and saves time by pre-filling standard fields like tire size, cost, and vendor, reducing manual entry errors. This streamlines data input and maintains uniformity across records.

1. Click "Apply Template"

  • Click “Apply Template” to see the list of tires to choose from to use as a template

2. Select a tire file

  • Select an existing tire file to use as the template

3. Fleet360 will pre-fill standard fields

  • The following fields are pre-filled from the template:

    • Tire Condition

    • Current Value

    • Manufacturer

    • Vendor

    • Tire Size

    • Minimum Tread Depth

    • Current Tread Depth

    • PSI

    • Tire Type

    • Capper

Fleet360 will pre-fill standard fields

4. Click "Tire Number "

  • Input the following:

    • Tire Number

    • Serial Number

    • Ply Rating (OPTIONAL)

    • Tread Type (OPTIONAL)

    • Number of Caps - input the tire has been capped already

    • Part - Associate a part file to the tire

5. Click "Create"

  • Finalize and create the new tire.

Click 'Create'
