Summary/Use Case

Report Summary

The Part Request Log report provides a detailed list of requested parts that are currently on order, pending, ready for delivery, or out for delivery. Fleet managers can use this report to monitor the status and aging of part requests to improve service scheduling and parts inventory management.

Use Case

  • Track outstanding part requests by facility and request status

  • Identify aging part requests to expedite procurement and minimize equipment downtime

  • Monitor which parts are awaiting delivery to align maintenance planning

  • Assist in evaluating vendor performance based on delivery timeliness

  • Provide documentation for internal auditing or cost recovery

Report Output and Data Elements

The Part Request Log report displays requested parts organized by status groups. Each section includes columns detailing the work order number, request date, technician, part information, PO number, receipt status, and request age. Totals are not displayed, but the grouping allows for efficient scanning by status and request age.
