Quick Repair Settings
Quick Repair feature is included with the Platinum and Diamond only.
Quick Repair will allow shops to create work orders swiftly without the need for a detailed process saving time and effort. This function will allow you to streamline fast-paced jobs like wiper replacements. The purpose behind this quick repair feature is to not have to fully go through the process of creating a work order. The job type must be set up in Quick Repair Settings before it can be accessible for a Quick Repair Work Order.
To create the Job Type and details, navigate to Settings under Maint. & Repair Section and click on Quick Repair.
Add a Quick Repair Job
After accessing the quick repair section as show above. Click the located at the top right of the screen, if Quick Repair Jobs have been added, you will also list a list of those in this screen.
Once in the Create Quick Repair screen, enter the following details
ID: Must be a numeric field
Name: Ideal name for the quick repair job type
Repair Type: After clicking the drop down, a list of your repair types will appear for you to select from
Description: A brief description of the type of job
Estimated Time: Average time to complete the quick repair job
Work Order VMRS: A list with your VMRS code will show after clicking the drop down, select the appropriate code for the job
In the parts section, enter the appropriate part for the job by clicking the part that is towards the bottom right of that window. Add the part type for the job by typing in the part number or name, the system will you give a list of options based on your parts inventory. Add the quantity of parts that are required for the job. You can add additional parts by clicking the part again.
Once all the information has been entered, click create at the bottom right of the screen
Edit a Quick Repair Job
If you need to edit one of your quick repair jobs, select it from the master list. That will open the quick repair file, click into the field that you wish you edit and update the information. Click the checkmark after updating to save your changes.
Delete a Quick Repair Job
If you need to delete a quick repair job, click the check box for that job to select it. It should highlight blue with a checkmark, next click the trashcan icon towards the top right of the screen
The confirmation window to delete quick repair job will pop-up, select delete to move forward with this action
