Use an RTA standard report
RTA Reports is a folder of ready-made reports that RTA supplies and maintains. They are pinned to the top of your reports list and available without building anything.
What you can do with one
Action | Available |
|---|---|
Run it, with your own filter values | Yes |
Export it to CSV or PDF | Yes |
Copy it | Yes |
Edit, move, share, schedule, or delete it | No |
RTA standard reports are read-only for everyone in your organization, this is enforced by Fleet360, not just hidden from the menu. Selecting one shows the tooltip "RTA standard report, run, export, or copy it."
Run an RTA standard report
Go to Ron 360 Reports.
Open the RTA Reports folder at the top of the list.
Select the report you want.
Set filter values if the report offers them, then select Run Report.
It behaves like any other report from here, see Run and export a report.
Make it your own
To change an RTA standard report, copy it. The copy is a normal report that you own and can edit, schedule, share, and file wherever you like.
Select the report and open its actions.
Select Copy.
Give it a name and choose a destination folder, the RTA Reports folder is not a valid destination, so pick one of your own or create one.
Select Copy.
Open your copy and edit it, for example, "restrict this to the north facility and add a column for total cost."
This is the intended route to a customized standard report: start from RTA's version rather than describing the whole thing from scratch.
You need the AI Reports Add permission to copy.
If it doesn't work
There is no RTA Reports folder. Your organization has no RTA standard reports provisioned. Contact your RTA account manager.
Edit, Share, and Schedule are missing. Expected, these reports are read-only. Copy it and use your copy.
You cannot copy into RTA Reports. Also expected. The folder is managed by RTA and rejects anything saved, moved, or copied into it.
RTA Reports is not sorted with your other folders. It is pinned to the top deliberately, so it stays reachable however many folders you create.
