M&R Dashboard: Work Order Status and Length

Overview

The M&R Dashboard: Work Order Status and Length provides an examination of maintenance and repair practices focusing on the current status and length of work orders. It is part of the M&R Dashboards group.


Navigating the Dashboard

  1. Log in and navigate to Home → Analytics → Dashboard.

  2. Select M&R Dashboard: Work Order Status and Length from the dropdown in the top-right corner. If it is not immediately visible, scroll down through the list to locate it.

  3. Use the filter bar at the top of the dashboard to narrow data by the available filters.

  4. Use the sub-tabs within each widget section to switch between views where available.

Number of work orders that have a system status of ready for review. This is an automatic change in status when all work order lines are closed

Count of work orders that are closed in the current calendar year to date

Fiscal Year to Date: Number of Closed Work Orders

Count of work orders that are closed in the current fiscal year to date

Number of work orders that have a current custom work order status with "Bay" in the description

Average days between the date a job was deferred and today

Count of work orders that have a system status of "Open", "Ready for Review" or "Re-Opened" with a create timestamp greater than the last 48 hours

List of open work orders open more than 48 hours

Average Work Order Length (Hours) Year to Date

Average work order length of work orders that were closed this calendar year to date

Average Work Order Length (Hours) Year over Year

Average work order length by work order closed month/year for the calendar/fiscal year

FAQs & Tips

Q: Why isn't the dashboard loading? Some browser settings (cookie blockers, strict privacy modes) can prevent the dashboard from rendering. See the browser settings guide linked at the top of this page, or contact tech support.

Q: What system statuses are considered "Open" for work orders? Work orders with a system status of "Open", "Ready for Review", or "Re-Opened" are counted as open across all open work order widgets.

Q: What is the Comeback Rate based on? The Comeback Rate counts work order lines that have a repair type containing "Rework", "Comeback", or "Comeba" in their description.

Q: Can I filter multiple values at once? Yes. Most filter fields support multi-select. Click the filter field and select as many values as needed.

Q: What is the difference between calendar year and fiscal year views? Calendar year views use Jan–Dec. Fiscal year views use your organization's defined fiscal year dates set in the system settings.

Q: What do the right-click options on a widget do? Right-clicking on any widget opens a Chart Options menu with the following actions:

See container options

Access additional options for the widget's container. Container options include: Full screen (expands the widget to full screen), Monitor in activity center (not available in RTA), Share (not available in RTA), Alerts (set threshold-based alerts on the container), and Notes (add or view notes on the container)

Q: What do the selection toolbar icons mean? The toolbar icons appear at the top of the dashboard and allow you to interact with chart selections.
