Run and export a report

A saved Ron360 report is re-runnable. Opening it re-renders against current data, and if the report has filters or parameters you can change them before each run.

Run a report with your own filters

  1. Go to Ron 360 Reports and select the report.

  2. Select Edit Filters on the report, or open the report's actions.

The dialog opens on Run, with the subtitle "Set filters to re-run this report with current data."

  3. Set the values you want.

Which controls appear depends on the report. Reports built without parameters or filters have nothing to set here and simply run.

    Section

    What it holds

    Parameters

Values the report was built to accept, a label and a value per row.

    Filters

Conditions on the data, each with a filter, an operator, and a value. Multi-select filters show "(All)" until you narrow them.

  4. Select Run Report.

The report re-renders with current data using the values you set.

Note: When you run a report yourself, date ranges are fixed dates. Rolling periods such as "Last 30 days" are available only when you schedule a report for delivery, see Schedule report delivery.

View a report full screen

Select the full-screen button on the report to open it in a full-window view. Close it with the in the corner. All the same actions, export, copy, share, remain available in full screen.

Export a report

  1. Open the report.

  2. Select Export, then Export CSV or Export PDF.

  3. You will see "CSV export started. You will be notified when the file is ready.", or the PDF equivalent.

Exports are generated in the background, so you can keep working. Large reports take longer; you do not need to keep the report open while it builds.

Choose the format for what you need next: CSV for data you intend to analyze elsewhere, PDF for a fixed, shareable rendering that preserves the report's layout and page orientation.

If it doesn't work

There are no filters to set. The report was built without parameters or filters. To make it configurable, edit it and ask for the filters you want.

You want "Last 30 days" but only see a date picker. Rolling periods apply to scheduled deliveries only. For an interactive run, set the dates you want, or schedule the report, where rolling periods keep the window moving with each delivery.

"Failed to start CSV export." / "Failed to start PDF export." The export could not be queued. Try again; if it persists, note the report name and contact support.

The export never arrived. Exports are asynchronous and you are notified separately when the file is ready. Check again shortly before retrying, starting a second export does not cancel the first.
