Build your first report
Before you begin
You need the AI Reports Add permission — with view-only access, Build New Report isn't shown at all. Fleet360 doesn't provide a training or demo environment, so you'll build this report against your own fleet data. Building a report consumes your organization's AI credits, so build one report here rather than experimenting repeatedly. Ask your administrator if you aren't sure whether Ron360 Reports is switched on for you.
What you will accomplish
You'll describe a report in plain language, answer the assistant's questions, and save the result into a folder of your own.
Steps
Go to Ron 360 Reports in the main navigation.
Select Build New Report. The screen switches to build mode and fills the window — the conversation on the left, the report preview on the right.
In Describe the report you want, type a request that names the data, the grouping, and the period. For example:
Show me a summary of work orders by facility for the last quarter.Then send it.Read the assistant's reply. It will usually ask you something before it builds — which facilities to include, how to group the results, or what date range you mean. Answer it in the same box.
Continue answering until the assistant builds the report. You'll notice the preview on the right fills in: first Generating report… while the assistant plans and fetches, then Rendering report… while it draws the result.
Read the preview. Ask for one change in the conversation — for example,

In Save report, select Yes, save report.
Select New folder, give the folder a name, and confirm. Fleet360 creates the folder and saves your report into it.
What you just did
You described an outcome and got a working report back, without naming a single table or field. Between your description and the result, the assistant did three things in order: it planned the queries, it fetched the data, and it rendered the report — which is why the follow-up questions appear where they do, at the point where the plan can't be settled without you. The change you asked for in step 6 is the part worth remembering. Page orientation has no control anywhere in Fleet360; you reached it by asking.
