Job status values

This reference describes the job status values in Fleet360 Work Orders. Use it when you need to understand what a job's current status means, what it allows, or what must happen to move the job forward.

A job moves forward as work progresses and backward only when explicitly reopened. Reopening a closed job requires the parent Work Order to be open — if the Work Order is already Closed, the Work Order must be reopened first.

What closing a job means for the Work Order

When a job is closed, it removes itself from the count of open jobs on the Work Order. When the last open job is closed, the Work Order automatically moves to Ready for Review.

If you close a job and the Work Order does not advance to Ready for Review, at least one other job is still open. Check the Jobs tab for any remaining In Progress or Open jobs.

Reopening a closed job

A closed job can be reopened if additional work needs to be recorded or a posting error must be corrected. Reopening a job:

• Returns the job to In Progress

• Allows new postings to be added

• Returns the parent Work Order to In Progress if it had reached Ready for Review
