Schedule a report for delivery

Before you begin

You must own the report — a report someone shared with you can't be scheduled, though you can copy it and schedule your copy. Use the report you built in Build your first report. This scenario sends a real email, so you'll put only yourself on the delivery list.

What you will accomplish

You'll set up a weekly email delivery of your report, addressed to yourself, with a date range that moves forward each week.

Steps

  1. Go to Ron 360 Reports and select your report.

  2. Open the report's actions and select Schedule.

  3. Select + to add a schedule.

  4. Enter a Schedule name — something you'd recognise later, such as Weekly — my copy. Names have to be unique within the report.

  5. Leave the delivery format on Export CSV, and leave yourself on the recipient list. You're added by default, so there's nothing to add here — and nobody else receives this delivery.

  6. Under Report inputs, set the report's date range to a Rolling period, and choose Last week.

  7. Set the timing: leave the schedule Enabled, accept the start date and the 08:00 delivery time, and set the frequency to Weekly.

  8. Select Save.

What you just did

You turned a report you have to remember to run into one that arrives on its own. The choice that did the work is the rolling period in step 6. Fixed dates would deliver the same rows every week forever; "Last week" moves the window forward with each delivery, so every email covers the week that just ended. This is also the one place the choice exists — when you run a report yourself, date ranges are fixed dates, and rolling windows belong to schedules alone. One thing to know before you add anyone else: a scheduled delivery is generated with your access, not the recipient's. Everyone on the list gets the file as you would see it, including people outside Fleet360. Check what a schedule exposes before you widen its recipients.
