FleetHQ insight, recommendation, and research states
Insight states
State | Customer-visible meaning |
|---|---|
Investigating | FleetHQ is building or updating the finding. It is not an active card yet. |
Open | The finding is active. It can remain visible or wait in the queue. |
Acted | The finding was closed by recording that it was handled. |
Dismissed | The finding was closed as not useful or not applicable. |
Resolved | The monitored condition recovered, or an adoption opportunity began receiving genuine data. |
Superseded | A newer finding replaced this one. |
Only active findings appear in the current workspace. Visible findings are shown now; queued findings wait behind the published set.
Recommendation states
State | Meaning |
|---|---|
Open | No decision has been recorded. |
Completed | A user task was marked done. |
Ignored | A user task was intentionally skipped. |
Approved | An agent action received approval. In 26.10, this records permission but does not execute the action. |
Rejected | An agent action was declined. |
Superseded | The step was replaced and is no longer current. |
Recommendation purpose can be Diagnose, Remediate, or Verify. Dependencies identify steps that logically come first; each step still owns its own decision state.
Research states
Label | Meaning and next action |
|---|---|
Not researched | FleetHQ detected the condition but has not performed the paid investigation. An authorized user can select Research this one. |
Researching | Research was accepted and is running in the background. The card updates automatically; do not submit it again. |
Researched | No persistent badge is required. The analysis contains the resulting root cause, evidence, alternatives, confidence, and plan. |
Analysis unavailable | FleetHQ investigated, but the result was not usable as a customer-facing analysis. Follow the message on the card; a retry is offered only when the backend considers it safe. |
Deeper dive needed | Research found partial information but did not reach a complete root cause. Treat the displayed note as a lead, not a conclusion; FleetHQ will retry automatically. |
Research didn't finish | The attempt ended before a publishable result was available. Use the displayed reason and the troubleshooting guidance. |
Finding classifications
Classification | Meaning |
|---|---|
Performance | A finding about fleet performance. |
Data reliability | A finding about whether the metric data itself is dependable enough to use. |
Good news | Favorable movement; it does not borrow the severe/alarm treatment. |
Opportunity | A metric is not measured yet; this is an invitation to begin collecting it, not a fault. |
