Summary/Use Case

Report Summary

The Part Kit List report shows each part kit and its component parts, including quantities, on-hand counts, costs, and extended totals. Fleet parts managers can use it to confirm kit completeness, stock levels, and valuation by facility and fit code.

Use Case

• Audit kit definitions and verify all required components and quantities

• Check on-hand quantities to ensure kits can be built or issued

• Review kit valuation (Avg Cost × Quantity) for budgeting and inventory planning

• Organize kits by facility and VMRS/Fit Code using the report’s sort order

Report Output and Data Elements

Report Output

The Part Kit List report groups results by Facility and Fit Code, then lists each Kit with header details (Kit #/Description, VMRS, Primary Bin, Price). Under each kit, component lines display component number/description, primary bin, on-hand, required quantity, average cost, and extended total. Subtotals roll up at the kit level and at the facility level for Quantity and Total.

Color Formatting Description

Red: This indicates that part within the kit has an on-hand quantity of 0

Report Sort Order

• Facility (ascending)

• Fit Code (ascending)

• Part Kit Number (ascending)

• Component Number (ascending)
