Navigating Recalls File
The recall file serves as a centralized record within the system that captures all relevant details about a specific manufacturer-issued recall. It allows users to review recall information, identify affected assets, track status, attach supporting documents, and take appropriate action—such as creating a campaign to address the recall. This helps ensure compliance, streamline recall management, and maintain fleet safety.
Recall files are created automatically when Fleet360 imports a recall from NHTSA; recalls cannot be entered manually. From the recall file you can Create Campaign (open recalls), Close the recall, or Re-open a closed recall that has no campaign. Once a campaign exists, a Campaign button opens it.
