Replacement Plan Dashboard

Overview
Currently, replacement in reporting displays the first round of replacements. In order to properly budget and plan for future replacements we’ve added the second, third, fourth+ replacements rounds to the Replacement Plan Dashboard.
The Replacement Plan Dashboard provides a comprehensive view of your organization's 20-year fleet replacement plan, including replacement costs, counts, and data quality metrics. It is divided into three sheets accessible via tabs at the top of the dashboard.

Definitions
Terms | Definition |
Benchmark Replacement Plan | This is the 20 year replacement plan based on the asset’s projected life and/or projected life meter. An asset is replaced either based on its age or primary meter depending on which occurs first. The replacement by primary meter is based on its average annual primary meter and the projected life meter. |
Overdue Assets | These assets are past due for replacement. i.e. They should have been replaced before now based on either their projected life or projected life meter. |
Replacement Cost | Purchase Price + Upfitting Costs inflated using the inflation rate assigned. If there is no inflation rate, then the total replacement cost is not inflated. This assumes that the purchase price and upfitting costs are in today’s dollars, so year 1 will not be inflated. |
Navigating the Dashboard
Log in and navigate to Home → Analytics → Dashboard.
Select Replacement Plan Dashboard from the dropdown in the top-right corner. If it is not immediately visible, scroll down through the list to locate it.
Use the sheet tabs at the top of the dashboard to switch between the two views.
Use the filter bar at the top of each sheet to narrow data by the available filters.

FAQs & Tips
Q: Why isn't the dashboard loading? Some browser settings (cookie blockers, strict privacy modes) can prevent the dashboard from rendering. See the browser settings guide linked at the top of this page, or contact tech support.
Q: What is the 20-year benchmark replacement plan? The 20-year benchmark replacement plan projects when each asset will need to be replaced over the next 20 years based on their projected life cycle or projected life meter, along with associated replacement costs.
Q: What does "Overdue" mean in the replacement widgets? An asset is considered overdue for replacement if it was supposed to be replaced a year or more ago based on its expected life.
Q: Why might an asset not appear in the replacement plan? Assets missing a model year or inservice date cannot be included in the replacement plan since their age cannot be calculated. Assets also need a projected life cycle or projected life meter to be included.
Q: What is the difference between Age and Meter replacement cycles? Age-based replacement uses the asset's projected life (in years). Meter-based replacement uses the asset's projected life meter (e.g., miles, hours).
Q: What is the difference between "by Year" and "by Fiscal Year" views? "By Year" uses calendar year (Jan–Dec). "By Fiscal Year" uses your organization's defined fiscal year dates that are set in the system settings.
Q: What do the data quality metrics measure? The data quality widgets show the percentage of assets or class codes missing key data fields required for the replacement plan. Lower percentages indicate better data quality.
Q: Can I filter multiple values at once? Yes. Most filter fields support multi-select. Click the filter field and select as many values as needed.
Q: What do the right-click options on a widget do? Right-clicking on any widget opens a Chart Options menu with the following actions:
