Overview
The M&R Dashboard: Total Maintenance Cost by VMRS provides an examination of maintenance and repair practices focusing on how much each VMRS code costs in terms of repairs. It is part of the M&R Dashboards group.
Navigating the Dashboard
Log in and navigate to Home → Analytics → Dashboard.
Select M&R Dashboard: Total Maintenance Cost by VMRS from the dropdown in the top-right corner. If it is not immediately visible, scroll down through the list to locate it.
Use the filter bar at the top of the dashboard to narrow data by the available filters.
Use the sub-tabs within each widget section to switch between views where available.

Filter by Fiscal Year | Filters by work order fiscal year using a drilldown hierarchy: Fiscal Year → Month → Date |
Filter by Department | Filter all widgets by the vehicle's department |
Filter by Customer | Filter all widgets by the vehicle's customer |

Q: Why isn't the dashboard loading? Some browser settings (cookie blockers, strict privacy modes) can prevent the dashboard from rendering. See the browser settings guide linked at the top of this page, or contact tech support.
Q: What costs are included in Total M&R Cost? Total M&R cost includes all in-house and outside maintenance and repair costs associated with work orders, broken down by VMRS code or description.
Q: What is a VMRS code? VMRS (Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards) codes are a standardized system for classifying vehicle maintenance and repair work. They allow you to track and compare maintenance costs across consistent categories.
Q: How many years of data does this dashboard show? The Total M&R Cost widgets show data for the past 6 years.
Q: Can I filter multiple values at once? Yes. Most filter fields support multi-select. Click the filter field and select as many values as needed.
Q: What do the right-click options on a widget do? Right-clicking on any widget opens a Chart Options menu with the following actions:

See container options | Access additional options for the widget's container. Container options include: Full screen (expands the widget to full screen), Monitor in activity center (not available in RTA), Share (not available in RTA), Alerts (set threshold-based alerts on the container), and Notes (add or view notes on the container) |
Q: What do the selection toolbar icons mean? The toolbar icons appear at the top of the dashboard and allow you to interact with chart selections.
