Equipment Service Log in Work Orders

The Equipment button is available on all Work Orders, even if the asset has no mounted equipment.

Users can:

  • Select any equipment, with mounted equipment appearing first in the dropdown.

  • Post labor and parts using the same workflow and requirements as the "Add Service Log" feature.

Log an equipment service

  1. In the Work Order access, the equipment section

  2. Click in the equipment tab to review a list of equipment and select the appropriate one. If the service has been completed, click on the toggle

  1. Enter the posting details and select add item, then click post towards the bottom right of the window.

If you are posting labor or other the tabs will show as following

  • Labor: Service at, Work Order VMRS, Employee, Quantity, Cost

  • Other: Service at, Description, Quantity, Cost

Work Order PDF

When a service is performed as part of a work order, it is now included as a line item on the work order PDF. This ensures the service total is reflected in the overall work order total. To distinguish equipment service lines from job-related entries, they will be displayed with a line number of 00. See example below.
