Assigning Jobs by Bay

Some shops may have more techs than bays and that may require them to set up their jobs by bay. There could be bays that are job specific. Refer to Setting Up Bays to learn how to set up your shop bays in shop scheduler.

Schedule Job by Bay

  1. To assign a job by bay, toggle to the BAYS calendar view

  2. Double click in the column for the desired bay and time you’d like to schedule

  3. You may select one of the following options

  • Direct Jobs: Will show a list of vehicles with an open work order

  • Indirect Jobs: Will give you a list of indirect jobs to choose from

  • Add Job: Will allow you to add a job on the fly

  1. Add the appointment details and click confirm

  2. The scheduler calendar will not display the appointment in the bay column
